There is one simple and well selected shop at the one alley in Kurokawa, Nagoya, named "Author". I went there in the mid of summer while bathed sound of cicada. the surrounding was the place kind of like really local place. but suddenly it was appeared in front of me. GSP wan't wrong.
There were some of cute and beautiful clothes which was selected as originally by shopkeeper. sounds like natural, simplicity, healthy, and then lit bit nostalgic garments. especially, the textures were so kind for human skin. and very wearable. there are for both of man and woman. so, it's good to go with couple. whatever you are, you can find and some of your favourite pieces.
Also, there are not only the clothes. very well selected living ware also for sale. it include ceramic plate ( above ), cooking equipment, bath supplies, and ceramic tea pod. among them, noteworthy one is this wind chime ( called "Fu-rin" in japanese ) created by 3rd Ceramics. this brand is based on Tajimi city, Gifu prefecture in Japan. basically, wind chime has been made by glass in its history. but, as you know, this one is made by ceramics. what that effect? according to talk with shopkeeper, by be made of ceramics, fine gap which arise by the particles of soil effects to sounds. and currently here is for sale these three types forms. I personally love left one in this pict! and the vase on above pict also creation from 3rd ceramics. can you see the exquisite pattern on surface? this pattern is that is naturally formed by layer of sand. so, it's like a jupiter!
sometimes, the special event will be hold in here. last month was collaboration with flower shop named " la feuille " where is also placed in nagoya. and you can have good time to talk with very kind shopkeeper!
